Rally for RAACE Sponsors Needed

Now that summer is upon us, we are drawing closer to the 4th Annual Rally for RAACE Motorcycle Ride and Family Fun Day. It is a great pleasure for The RAACE Foundation to be able to host motorcyclists from as close as Harford County, Maryland to as far away as California every year for this fun event. This year’s RALLY for RAACE will be taking place on Sunday, August, 16th starting at Jones Hyundai in Bel Air, MD and finishing at the huge Chesapeake Harley-Davidson facility in Darlington, MD.

Since its inception in 2006, this event has raised well over $100,000 for the education, prevention, awareness and healing of Child Sexual Abuse. However, this would not be possible without the amazing financial support we receive each year. Collectively we can surely make a difference.

Our Rally for RAACE is a police escorted 53-mile charity motorcycle ride and family fun day which takes a beautifully scenic tour through Harford County, Maryland. The ride will go through picturesque landscapes, sprawling horse farms, rambling hills, and expansive wood-scapes before finishing at the huge family fun day in Darlington. This immense natural area bordered by southern York and Lancaster counties in Pennsylvania and the Susquehanna River has been largely preserved for agriculture. 2008 saw over 500 riders take part in the RALLY and more than 1200 people at the Family Fun Day at Chesapeake Harley-Davidson.

The RALLY for RAACE is actively looking for corporate and individual partners who share the vision for a world free of abuse, one where children are allowed to grow up free of the life-altering and destructive scars of child sexual abuse. Title and presenting sponsorship opportunities are available for our Rally for RAACE. We also need sponsors for awareness and education materials, Pre-registration events, live music performances, the route guide, and the website.

We also have sponsorship opportunities where with a minimum donation of $5 per line you will be able to send out family or friend acknowledgements as well as any type of message or recognition in our RALLY for RAACE Route Guide publication which is handed out free of charge to every rider and distributed at points around the ride as well as at pre-registration events. The RAACE Foundation Founder and President of CSU Construction in Forrest Hill, MD, Kenneth Smith is appealing to both Corporate Bodies and Individuals to join hands with him to stop child sexual abuse. Mr. Smith said: “That he and his organization are committed to improving the lives of children and families because of the basic American belief that individuals have the ability to make a difference in life and in history.”

Motorcyclists and Race fans know that you have to have fuel, fire and a heap load of heart to take the checkered flag. The RAACE Foundation has got the fire and the heart but we need your help with the fuel needed to win in the race against abuse of children everywhere. So we‘re asking everyone that believes children should grow up free from sexual abuse to help out any way they can. Whether you sponsor The RALLY for RAACE, ride in The RALLY, donate your money, your time, or all of the above, we need you to join The RALLY for RAACE today.

The RAACE Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charity and as such is fueled entirely by private and corporate contributions. The RAACE Foundation receives no federal or state funding. All donations are tax deductible and are used in the furtherance of The RAACE Foundation’s mission and vision. Absolutely NO funds are used to support The RAACE Foundation Family of Drivers or any of The RAACE Foundation affiliated racing teams.
