Thursday Night July 23rd is a special evening for The RAACE Foundation and Founder Kenneth Smith. It marks the first time that a professional sports organization other than a racing series, team or track has pitched in to help win The Race Against Abuse of Children Everywhere.
Located on City Island in the capitol city of Harrisburg, PA, Metro Bank Park plays host the AA affiliate of the Washington Nationals. The Sens will host the Bowie Bay Sox the AA team of the Baltimore Orioles. Gates open at 6 pm and the game starts at 7 pm. The new Boardwalk will be open. The old fashioned Jersey Shore boardwalk wraps around the outfield offering incredible views of the field and skyline as well as refreshment vendors and beer garden.
Highlights of the evening include The RAACE Foundation founder Ken Smith throwing out the ceremonial first pitch, a live interview during the teleplay/radio broadcast of The RAACE Foundations Director of Development Brad Brickel, autograph sessions featuring some of the to PA Posse and World of Outlaws Sprint Car Drivers from nearby Williams Grove Speedway and plenty of TeamRAACE race cars on display.
General Admission for the evening is $5 reserved seats are just $8. The RAACE Foundation needs twenty or more people to get together and we can get $3 seats.
