Mark it on your calendars... The 5th Annual RALLY for RAACE to raise awareness and funds to eliminate child sexual abuse is set for Sunday, August 8th, 2010. Since its inception in 2006, this event has raised well over $150,000 for the education, prevention, awareness and healing of Child Sexual Abuse.
All motorcycles are welcome. The Rally for RAACE is a police escorted 56-mile charity motorcycle ride and the family fun day is a town fair kind of celebration. Last years family fun day at Chesapeake Harley Davidson featured American Racing Mower Association lawn mower races, The National Guard's climbing wall, face painting, ice-cream & sno-cones, moon bounce, temporary & Henna tattoos by Mason Dixon Tattoo, food like Steel Horse Pit Beef & Bill Bateman's Bistro's famous crab pretzel, drinks by Wild Bill's Soda & Tropicana, games, raffles for an iPod, Oriole's & Raven's tickets and more, vendors included Lucas Oil, Geoff Bodine's Waxing Frenzy, Racing Collectibles, and Mountain Patches, local business displays from Korey Homes, No More Stolen Childhoods, Davidson Learning Center, Harford County Child Advocacy Center and the was even great live music by Sir Psycho & Flipside. Adults were thrilled by Legends of The Fog's coffin ride, and more...
2009 saw over 400 riders take part in the RALLY and more than 1200 people at the Family Fun Day at Chesapeake Harley-Davidson. Motorcyclists and race fans know that you have to have fuel, fire and a heap load of heart to take the checkered flag. The RAACE Foundation has the fire and the heart but we need your help with the fuel needed to win in the Race Against Abuse of Children Everywhere.
