Until every child is safe from sexual abuse, our race has no finish line. That pretty much sums it up. The RAACE Foundation was created in response to the knowledge that child sexual abuse is tragically destructive, all too common, and totally preventable.

We have three goals:

Expose the hidden epidemic of child sexual abuse. It is impossible to effectively solve a problem if you don’t know it exists. The RAACE Foundation works primarily to convey the fact that child sexual abuse exists at epidemic levels and is extremely prevalent within our society. Statistics indicate that 1 in 3 girls and 1 in 7 boys are sexually abused before the age of 18; while as much as 95% of the abuse comes from someone they know and trust.

Educate Parents in regards to the nature of the problem. At the RAACE Foundation, we agree that education about child sexual abuse is the foundation of both prevention and healing. Establishing and maintaining open, age appropriate communication with your child gives you the #1 defensive tool to protect them from becoming a victim of sexual abuse.
