It may seem simple, but reporting is often a difficult thing to do. Many people know and trust the person they feel is sexually abusing a child, and do not want to report abuse without proof. However, not reporting could deny the help that a child so desperately needs. If you suspect that a child is being victimized, please take the next step and phone the ChildHelp Hotline at 1-800-4-A-Child.

Although law enforcement strives to protect all children, it is impossible for them to cover every area of a community. If you suspect that a child needs help, take the next step and report, you will be providing a crucial link between caring professionals and a hurt child.
