The RAACE Foundation:- Was founded in 2004 by Ken Smith
- Is a non-profit organization and received 501(c)(3) status in December of 2006
- Is dedicated to raising public awareness child sexual abuse
- Utilizes the most popular spectator sport in the world, motorsports, as an outlet to raise awareness
- Has headquarters located outside of Baltimore, MD in Forest Hill, MD
- Provides grants to organizations with the mission to help child sexual abuse victims
- Aspires to have dedicated teams competing at every level of racing
- Maintains www.raace.org the online presence of The RAACE Foundation a knowledge center created for the prevention of child sexual abuse
- Partners with the charitable organization Childhelp to provide a hotline for those needing immediate help at 1-800-4-A-Child
- Conducts over 30 On-Site Awareness Events annually at motorsport competitions across America
- Has placed over 250,000 pieces of awareness material in the hands of racing fans nationwide since its inception
- Conducts Rally for RAACE, a fundraising event in Harford County Maryland that includes over 500 riders annually
RAACE to Raise $2,000,000 Fundraising Campaign: - Began January 19, 2008
- Ends December 31, 2009
- 70% of funds are used by The RAACE Foundation to raise awareness and educate the public
- 30% of the funds are distributed by a grant process to charitable organizations helping those silently suffering find peace
TeamRAACE Membership Program: - An exclusive club providing its members with the tools to display their RAACE Foundation pride and raise awareness in their own communities
