Forest Hill, MD - The 9th Anniversary edition of Gettysburg Bike Week, the Mid-Atlantic's premiere motorcycling event is set for Thursday July 8 - 11, 2010. Gettysburg is the place to meet with Custom Motorcycle Builders and over 20,000 attendees representing anything and everything in motorcycling from companies throughout the Mid-Atlantic region including Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, West Virginia, Washington D.C. and Pennsylvania.

Highlights of the event include nightly concerts on the main stage, Bike Games, Car Show, Pig Roasts, Stunt Teams, Motocross, Tattoo Contests, Custom Bike Show, Burn Out Pit, Fireworks and more than 100 exhibitors displaying the latest products and services available to the motorcycling industry, as well as The RAACE Foundations Huge "Time to Talk" Awareness Station. At 22ft tall and 18ft wide this huge clock has a 14ft wide spinning inner wheel. It combines a Las Vegas Style "Pick 6" traditional money wheel and boardwalk style "Pick a Space" game with 27 sponsor spaces. As a featured attraction the wheel will be the hub of activity at The All Star Complex, Bike Weeks main venue.

Interactive and energetic this engaging concept will be fun for everyone. As a 501(c)3 Charitable Organization, "Casino Style" gaming is an acceptable form of raising funds making the wheel a huge hit. The game wheel's 27 sponsor spaces will be used for giveaways to kids of all ages. Anyone who has visited the boardwalks in Wildwood or Ocean City understands what that means!

Key to The RAACE Foundation's presence at this years Bike Week is the fact that Gettysburg Bike Week has decided to join TeamRAACE. "As an organization Gettysburg Bike Week has decided that the families and riders they serve deserve to live in a world free of abuse. When I met with the organization's executives and discussed how prevalent the statistics regarding child sexual abuse are and the fact that the affects last long into adulthood, they knew they could make a difference. That is why Gettysburg Bike Week wanted to join TeamRAACE and have us at this years event, to educate all of the 20,000+ bikers, vendors, area businesses, their employees and families. In a team-based environment, everyone contributes to the overall success of the team. Belonging to TeamRAACE in the broadest sense then gives Gettysburg Bike Week the ability to prevent child sexual abuse through awareness and education in their community." Founder Kenneth Smith said.
