Forest Hill, MD - The Fourth Annual Keystone Cup series for the Central Pennsylvania 410 sprint cars will kick off on Wednesday night, May 26 at Grandview Speedway in Bechtelsville, PA to officially open the NAPA Auto Parts Thunder on the Hill Racing Series. The 410 sprints have been a standing tradition on the "hill" as this event will mark the kickoff of the Keystone Cup Sprint Speed Week Series. Six races at six tracks in six days and it all gets underway at the Grandview Speedway.
With TeamRAACE Driver Stevie Smith the 2009 Keystone Cup Champion and his ultra fast TeamRAACE, ZEMCO Special #1 sprint car, hopes are high that Stevie will once again grace victory lane to hoist the cup on Memorial Day. Once there you can bet that Stevie will let everyone of the fans, drivers, staff, owners and crew know how important it is that we talk about The RAACE Foundation and how simple, open, honest and age appropriate conversation can lead the charge to stop child sexual abuse.
The sprint cars highlight each show and $5,000 awaits the winner of each race. The Keystone Cup starts at Grandview Speedway on Wednesday, with TeamRAACE Family of Drivers member Kyle Weiss and the sportsman modifieds as a second division. Thursday, the Keystone Cup moves to Hagerstown Speedway in Hagerstown, MD where the sprints have a stand-alone show. Friday The Keystone Cup travels to world famous Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsville, PA for another sprint-only show.
Saturday, the Keystone Cup moves to Lincoln Speedway in Abottstown, PA, with the thundercars and sidewinder micro sprints also on the program in the pigeon hills. Sunday, it's on to Selinsgrove Speedway in the beautiful Susquehanna River town of Selinsgrove, PA with TeamRAACE driver Joey Biasi and the super sportsmen as part of the show. The Keystone Cup wraps up Monday at Port Royal Speedway, located in downtown Port Royal, PA where the pro stocks also take part in the program. TeamRAACE Sprint Car Drivers Dave Ely, Daryn Pittman, Brian Leppo and Stevie Smith all hope youll come out in your RAACE gear in support of our families and veterans this Memorial Day weekend.
